Judy
- Office Manager
Judy began her dental career by managing a general dental office
for six years. She has been with our practice since it opened in
1988 – back when there was just her, Dr. Grady, and two dental
chairs in the office. At that time, she assisted in the clinic, did
lab work, and managed the front desk. Now she devotes her energy to
managing all of the business aspects of the practice.
Judy has watched the practice grow by leaps and bounds through
the years and attributes its success to the exceptional
personalities and skills of Dr. Grady, Dr. Kastner and each
individual staff member.

Diane
– Treatment Coordinator
When a patient visits our office for an initial consultation,
they will first meet with either Dr. Grady or Dr. Kastner, and
Diane, our treatment coordinator. Diane has been with our practice
since 1989, and began her career with us as an orthodontic
assistant, before being promoted to treatment coordinator. Prior to
joining our practice, she worked as a dental assistant for eight
years. Her extensive background, experience, and expertise in the
dental field give her a broad knowledge of all aspects of
orthodontic care.
After the doctors examine a patient and present their findings,
Diane will continue the consultation by elaborating and explaining
each step of the proposed treatment plan in great detail to the
patient.
Judy
- Financial Coordinator
Prior to joining our office in 1996, Judy worked for many years
in accounting and office management.
Her position as Financial Coordinator is very rewarding because
it affords the privilege to get to know our “special patients and
parents” and establish wonderful friendships. The position of
Financial Coordinator enables her to meet all the people who pass
through our doors and follow their treatment from the beginning to
the end and see their beautiful smiles when they have completed
their treatment.
Karen – Insurance Coordinator
Karen began her career in the dental field in 1977 working at a
dental laboratory on the South Side of Pittsburgh. She joined our
office in 1998, and quickly excelled to the position of Insurance
Coordinator. Karen has a thorough knowledge of all insurance plans,
and works diligently to make sure that all patients receive the full
benefit available to them through their plan.
In addition, you may see Karen working in other areas of the
practice at times. As a true team player, she always pitches in when needed –
whether it is at the front desk, as Treatment Coordinator, Financial
Coordinator, or as the Clinical Coordinator, directing Dr. Grady and
Dr. Kastner to the next patient in the clinic.
Cathy - Front Desk Manager/Appointment Coordinator
Cathy joined our practice in 1999 and has worked at the front
desk as our Appointment Coordinator. She was promoted to Front Desk
Manager in 2004. Cathy makes every effort to coordinate your
appointments in a courteous and professional manner, and to be as
accommodating as possible.
Before working at our office, Cathy and her three sons were
patients of ours. She was so impressed with our office during their
visits, that she was determined to someday land a job with us. Two
years after she began working here, her husband also had his
orthodontic treatment at our practice! Cathy’s family photo is a
beautiful tribute to the professional work of Dr. Grady and Dr.
Kastner.
Cathy adds that “This is a great place to work. The doctors are
two of the kindest men I know”.
Jeannie - Appointment Coordinator
Jeannie has been our Appointment Coordinator on a part-time basis
since 2002. She possesses exceptional customer service skills and
goes out of her way to accommodate our patients. She shows
compassion and the highest level of professionalism at all times.
Jeannie feels truly blessed to work at such a great office. She
enjoys working for two wonderful doctors in an office with a
remarkable, caring staff.
Italia
– Greeter/Appointment Coordinator
Italia started working for Dr. Grady and Dr. Kastner as the front
desk greeter in April of 2005. “I really enjoy my job. It gives me
the opportunity to interact with our patients and their families.
Speaking and socializing are one of my best qualities! So, if I
haven’t met or spoken to you yet, I look forward to meeting you in
the future. I thank Dr. Grady and Dr. Kastner for my position on the
staff.”
Annette - Appointment Coordinator
Annette has worked as a secretary and administrative assistant
for over 30 years in several different professions. “I can honestly
say it is a true pleasure to work at the front desk of such a
dedicated and professional office. Doctors Grady and Kastner are two
of the finest doctors I have ever met.” Annette experienced their
skill and dedication first-hand many years ago when her own children
had their orthodontic treatment completed at our office. “Needless
to say, now, I am proud to be a part of this fine-tuned and
exceptional staff. You just can’t help not to smile!”
